Speed Beats Everything.
I’ve now spoken with 200+ AI founders across 25+ countries. One theme keeps getting louder ever single week:
Speed is becoming the #1 differentiator in GTM software.
Not features.
Not models.
Not IP.
Not “multi-agent architecture.”
Speed.
The speed in which you can prove you matter to the buyer.
And this week, across six very different founder conversations, this pattern showed up everywhere.
Why Speed Matters Right Now
The cost to build has collapsed.
The cost to adopt has not.
In fact, adoption is actually more expensive now because boards and CFOs are forcing every single tech spend to justify itself faster.
Executives aren’t asking “Will this be big someday?” anymore.
They’re asking: “What changed in my business this month because of this?”
The founders who are winning can answer that question inside of days. Not quarters.
What I Saw Across 6 Founder Calls This Week
Even though the products and categories were different, the winning patterns were the same:
One interface replacing multiple tabs
Removing the manual tasks reps avoid
AI that nurtures and builds trust over time, automatically
Each of those created one core advantage:
Speed of impact without changing how the buyer works.
No enablement.
No rollout plan.
No behavior change.
Just immediate lift.
The Metric That Actually Matters
Most founders assume “speed” means how fast your AI can generate output.
Wrong.
The real metric is Time To First Meaningful Impact.
Time to ROI that the exec can SEE, FEEL, and take back to the board.
This needs to become the north star KPI for every GTM AI product in 2025.
What the Best Founders Are Doing Right Now
They don’t launch 30 integrations.
They launch 3 workflows that guarantee one undeniable outcome inside 7 days.
Examples I saw this week:
Zero effort CRM updates after every call
A single command interface that controls Salesforce + Apollo + email
Automatic pipeline nurturing in the AE’s actual voice
This is not about being smarter.
This is about getting to proof faster.
Speed is what separates “cool tech demo” from “this changes the business right now.”
The Move Going Forward
Impact is the new demo.
Design around impact.
Ship for impact.
Sell with impact.
If you can deliver a meaningful win this week, you don’t need to convince anyone you are different. They will know.
Question of the Week
What was the fastest, meaningful win you delivered for a customer in the last 30 days?
How long did it take, and what changed?
Reply back with your answer. I’ll share a few of the best ones next week — because this is the new benchmark.
